You may already be aware that in April 2018 new legislation meant that in order to market a property for rental, Landlords must ensure that a minimum Energy Performance rating is met. This means the property being marketed must have a minimum rating of an ‘E’ or have an applicable exemption from the requirement to meet the MEES standard.
